Nigerians React As Police Reject Robbers Caught On Protest Ground

Protesters in Lekki Toll gate caught thieves trying to steal phone on the protest Ground but in order to avoid taking Justice by themselves, they handed them over to the police.

After they handed the robbers to the Nigerian police, they Rejected them.

This Led to many Nigerians narrating their ordeals with what they have faced with Nigerian police arresting criminals.

A twitter user said, "This isn’t new to me we caught a thief in my area last year we handed him over to the police the police said we should pay 20k before they can arrest him and if we can’t we should go back home with the thief."

Another user said, " Madness... It has consumed them all.

Ppl arrested robbers who broke into a store and handed the goods and the thieves to the police. Police told the owner of the shop that he has to bail the goods before they allow him get his stolen goods back, I wept!."

A Twitter user also said, "I went to the police station to report my missing passport and pvc, and they said I have to pay for the pen and paper I’d write with plus 2k submission fee. This was back in 2015, imagine how much they’ve grown now. #EndSARS #ENDBADGOVERNANCE."
