Aisha Buhari's wife of the president and first lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has called on her husband President Muhammed Buhari to listen to the yearnings of Nigerians.

In a video the wife of the president Aisha Buhari posted on her official Twitter handle, she admonished the president and all the service chiefs especially the Inspector-General of police to listen to the cries of Nigerians as a result of insecurity in the country, police brutality, and wanton loss of lives.

The video has a song in the Hausa language where she mocks the president, here the translation of the song;

-We're seeking your help (Buhari)
-People are crying
-Our blood is being shed
-Our people are being killed
-Our wealth is being set ablaze (Baba)
-Please see our crying
-Please protect us (Baba)

This is not the first time Aisha Buhari is speaking against her husband and his APC led government. The wife of the President has always stood on the side of Nigerians. In the past, she had made an allegation of the hijack of her husband's government by close family and Party elements.

Aisha Buhari's latest video is about the ongoing Endsars protest currently going on around the country as Nigerians, mostly youths are calling for the reform of the police force.

Nigerians have reacted to the video posted by Aisha Buhari, while some people have supported the first lady for lending her voice to the call for police reform, some are indifference, while others have castigated her.
