Report that the former 5 times world footballer of the year is carrying the virus surfaces online today and the footballer will now isolate himself while getting treatment.
Ronaldo, who is currently representing his nation in the UEFA Nations League is the latest high-profile footballer to contract the virus.
The Portugues Football Association announced that the 35- year old footballer is carrying the virus in their official statement after the team game against the France National team.
