Football: Son, Kane run rampage at Old Trafford as Man United suffered heavy defeat at home
South Korean and Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min was the star of the match as Jose Mourinho's Tottenham side defeated Manchester United six goals to one at Old Trafford in the English Premier League today.
Manchester United opened the scoring from the penalty spot after two minutes of play as Bruno Fernandes cooly put the ball past Hugo Lloris. The visitors equalized two minutes after with midfielder Ndombele scoring for the visitors.
Son added two in the first-half and Harry Kane scoring as well in the first 45 minutes to take the game beyond the home team side.
Manchester United and Solskjaer woes was compounded with attacker Anthony Martial sent off after an altercation with Eric Lamela.
After the resumption of the match in the second half, defender Serge Aurier added the fifth before Harry Kane completed his brace from the spot.
The defeat at Old Trafford is the second time Manchester United will be losing at home this season after their loss against another London team Crystal Palace.
This latest defeat will put more pressure on Manchester United and Ed Woodward to sign more players before the summer transfer window closes in few day's time.
Manchester United are looking to sign Telles from Porto and Edison Cavani from PSG after failing to agree on a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Sancho's deal.
